About the Company

The Women & Children Legal Research Foundation (WCLRF) was established in March 2003. WCLRF focuses on research, activism and awareness-raising with the goal of minimizing violence against women and developing their skills and knowledge for fair social and political participation at both local and national levels. To date, WCLRF’s operations include the provinces of Kabul, Parwan, Balkh, Badakhshan, Core, Kandahar and Nangarhar, both urban and rural, and plans to expand its presence in other provinces of the country. WCLRF is headquartered in Kabul and has two small offices in Balkh and Nangarhar.
