HADAAF (Humanitarian Assistance & Development Association for Afghanistan)

HADAAF is a non-profit, non-sectarian and political organization set up in March 2004 and registered with the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Health The aim of the establishment is to contribute, through its input, to the improvement of the overall living conditions of people, in particular the most vulnerable groups of people including women, children and the elderly and disabled. Emphasizing cost-effective involvement and capacity building in Afghan society, they are thus helping to contribute to the development of a prosperous and secure society irrespective of cast, faith, ethnicity discrimination and political affiliation to the level of self-reliance, self-efficiency and self-determination. HADAAF currently works primarily in the health sector, but also in education in provinces that are difficult to enter, such as Zabul, Kuner and Nuristan. HADAAF has also initiated short-term and long-term projects in Kunar, Laghman and Jalalabad. HADAAF’s mission and aim is to engage in Afghanistan’s growth and reconstruction and to enable the group to determine what, where and when to do. HADAAF has been set up to work towards improving living standards, which can only be accomplished by multi-sectoral cooperation and work in collaboration with various sectors.
