Afghan Health & Development Service (AHDS, established by Afghans on April 7, 1990, is a non-profit, non-governmental and non-political organization. AHDS is registered in the Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Public Health, and Ministry of Education in Afghanistan as a national NGO (No. 5); AHDS is also registered in the USA as a tax-exempt 501-(c)(3) organization.
