About the Company

GNI Background:

Good Neighbors International (GNI) is an international humanitarian and development organization, working in more than 35 countries. We are non-profit, non-governmental organization and in General Consultative Status with the United Nations, Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC).

Program Summary:

As an INGO, since 2002, Good Neighbors International (GNI) has been actively working in Afghanistan as a humanitarian and development aid agency, mainly targeting women and children who are deprived of their basic rights, especially the poor (rights-holders), through programs in several sectors, in order to enhance their capacities and to achieve major improvements in their lives. GNI is registered with the Ministry of Economy (NGO Department) under registration number 38. GNI Afghanistan (GNI-A) program is currently focused on the following sectors:

Health Program (supporting clinics and hospitals)
Skills and Educational Programs for Women and Children
Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)
Community Food Security and Economic Development

Besides, GNI-A is embarking on the social economy sectors with the aim of creating sources of livelihood and responding to the unmet needs of the vulnerable communities. This recruitment is the link of the same chain.

The objective of the current project is to establish and manage a women tailoring hub (WTH) that shall provide economic and psychological support to the marginalized (Afghan) women to become financially independent and morally strong by facilitating working, capacity building, and networking opportunities and at the meantime deliver high quality – low cost uniforms to the students.
