About Organization / Project:
The International NGO Safety Organisation exists to provide information and assistance to enable safer circumstances for NGOs and to increase aid access to all people in need in Afghanistan.
INSO West region is currently looking for a provincial Field Monitor for Ghor province. The candidates are required to be resident in the Ghor province and possess an understanding of the current situation relevant to NGO and humanitarian safety
The successful candidate will meet with NGO and other contacts working throughout the Ghowr province to collect and disseminate information regarding the threat environment, pertaining to NGO safety. In addition, he/she will develop contacts and organize a complete list of all NGO and their districts of operation.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience with the UN or an NGO is an advantage
- High school certificate (desirable: university qualification)
- Dari and Pashto speaker (Desirable: English)
