About the Company

People in Need (PIN) is a Czech NGO working in 22 countries around the world as a relief and development assistant. In Afghanistan, since 2001, PIN has responded to humanitarian needs and initiated development programs. PIN supports forestry, women’s economic advancement, social inclusion, and humanitarian response programs. PIN has a long-term political commitment to serve the people of Afghanistan by delivering neutral and unbiased aid, along with long-term development assistance, to survive and rebound from the extreme negative impacts of both wars and natural disasters. In Afghanistan, PIN advocates community-based interventions and has a significant field presence. In order to ensure that our programming remains valid and acceptable, this methodology is a central part of PIN.
