About the Company

Help the Afghan Children (HTAC), is a non-profit, non-governmental organization was established in 1993 in response to the horrible conditions of Afghan families she witnessed during Afghanistan’s civil war.  HTAC is registered with Afghanistan’s Ministry of Economics as a national non-governmental organization (registration # 261).  HTAC is also member of ACBAR coordination body in Afghanistan and has job oppurtunities.

HTAC is governed by an independent Board of Directors which sets the overall direction and priorities of the organization and its development programs.  HTAC’s accounting system is in conformity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Our main office is located in Kabul and our sub offices are established in Jawzjan, Sar-e-Pul, and Nangarhar provinces.  Our geographic coverage is: Kabul, Jawzjan, Sar-e-Pul, Parwan and Nangarhar Provinces.
