Central Afghanistan Welfare Committee (CAWC)

Is a local NGO, registered with Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan. The organization came in to being in 1989 by a dedicated group of Afghan professionals experienced in the area of humanitarian activities with the objective to carry out such activities in Afghanistan. While, soon after CAWC enhanced its operational area by including some other provinces such as Bamyan, Ghazni, Parwan, Daikundi, Kabul and Faryab. CAWC considers Human Rights, Gender Equality and Environment concerns as key principles for its intervention in; Agricultural Development, integrated Community Development, Health and Hygiene, Advocacy, WASH, basic Education, Renewable Energy Infrastructure development sectors.
